Creative DJ School, established in 2019, provides professional tuition in DJing and music production to individuals across South Yorkshire, Derbyshire, High Peak and across the UK.
​
The school is led by Ian Stanley, an experienced DJ, producer, promoter, award-winning label owner, and educator. Ian has performed at venues throughout the UK and the Channel Islands and brings his extensive industry expertise and passion for teaching to the school.
​
Creative DJ School has a proven record of success, with numerous former students earning music qualifications and securing roles within the music industry. Recent alumni have performed at Glastonbury, appeared on BBC Radio Sheffield, and showcased their talents at clubs in Sheffield, Coventry, and Derby.
​
The school collaborates with primary and secondary schools to nurture grassroots talent and promote DJing as an art form for the next generation. It offers workshops and peripatetic teaching for KS2, KS3, and KS4 students, helping them achieve enrichment goals and music qualifications through DJing.

In addition to private lessons for adults and children at its Attercliffe studio, Creative DJ School partners with charitable organizations such as the Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity Trust, LAPS, Foxhill Forum, and SOAR. Sheffield Food Festival

The school also host workshops in DJing and music production at schools and venues across the region. Past events have featured collaborations with renowned DJs such as Andy H and Charla Green.
